Does this toy require batteries for the sound?
No batteries required! The "giggle" and squeak sounds are purely mechanical. They are triggered by the internal tubes as the ball rolls and wobbles, ensuring it never runs out of "voice" during playtime.
Is the sound too loud for indoor use?
The sound is designed to be engaging for dogs (simulating prey movement) but at a volume that is manageable for humans. It is a "fun" sound that encourages your dog to keep moving, which is perfect for keeping them active while you are in another room.
How many treats can I fit inside?
The internal chamber can hold roughly 1/2 cup of small training treats or dry kibble. The treats drop out at random as the ball rolls, which keeps your dog guessing and playing for longer periods.
Is the material safe for aggressive chewers?
Our Giggle Ball is made from thickened, non-toxic, eco-friendly vinyl. While it is built to be extremely durable, we recommend supervised play for "power chewers" to ensure they focus on the treats and rolling action rather than trying to chew through the ball.
