Can I use just the water section without the food section?
Yes! The beauty of the segmented design is its modularity. You can easily unscrew the food compartment and attach the base directly to the water reservoir for shorter walks when you don't need snacks.
Is it leak-proof between the segments?
Absolutely. Each segment is fitted with a precision-engineered silicone gasket. When tightened, it creates a completely airtight and watertight seal, ensuring that water doesn't leak into the food section or your bag.
How much food and water does it hold?
The water reservoir holds 258ml (approx 9oz), and the food/treat segment holds 200ml (approx 7oz). This balanced ratio is perfect for medium-length outings and ensures the bottle remains lightweight and portable.
Does the water recovery feature actually work?
It does! Simply hold the dispense button while tilting the bottle back toward the reservoir. The unused water will flow back into the bottle, which is essential for conserving clean water during long hikes.
Is it safe to put in the dishwasher?
We recommend hand-washing with warm soapy water and a soft brush. This protects the silicone seals and ensures the high-transparency PC material remains crystal clear and durable for years of use.
